Pickleball in Bridgeport, Connecticut
Bridgeport has two four-court outdoor locations at Puglio Park and Glenwood Park. These courts work well for planned games. Players looking for scheduled open play, beginner instruction, or indoor courts have useful options a short drive away in Milford.
Where to Play Pickleball in Bridgeport
- Puglio Park
3455 Madison Avenue, Bridgeport, CT 06606
The park has four outdoor pickleball courts. No recurring open-play schedule or reservation program is posted, so this location is most useful when you already have partners.
- Glenwood Park
147 Glenwood Avenue, Bridgeport, CT 06610
Glenwood Park also has four outdoor pickleball courts. It is another in-city choice for a planned game rather than a dependable place to arrive alone and join organized play.
- Shoreline Pickleball
333 Quarry Road, Milford, CT 06460
This dedicated indoor facility is outside Bridgeport and provides organized play that the city parks do not. Visitors are welcome, and membership is not required. Players can reserve courts or join open play, clinics, lessons, leagues, socials, and skill-based programs.
- Eisenhower Park Pickleball Courts
Milford, CT 06460
This nearby public complex is outside Bridgeport and has eight courts used for the Milford Recreation Pickleball Program. The 2026 program runs through November 30, with organized play Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday from 8:00 AM to noon. Wednesday evening play runs through October 14. Resident, nonresident, and day-pass registration options are available.
Getting Started
New players should start with a beginner clinic or lesson at Shoreline Pickleball. The indoor club offers instruction and skill-based programs without requiring a membership. Milford Recreation also schedules beginner lessons and supervised play at Eisenhower Park. Individual instruction is listed in the Coaches section.
Open Play and Organized Pickleball
Shoreline Pickleball offers open play, leagues, socials, tournaments, coached match play, clinics, and lessons through its public calendar. Milford Recreation reserves all eight Eisenhower Park courts for its recurring program blocks and offers day passes during eligible sessions. These nearby Milford options provide a clearer route into organized games than Bridgeport's unscheduled park courts.
Visiting Bridgeport and Looking for a Game?
If you are traveling alone, book open play at Shoreline Pickleball or use a Milford Recreation day pass at Eisenhower Park during a scheduled program block. Both options are outside Bridgeport and make it easier to meet other players. Puglio Park and Glenwood Park are the practical in-city choices when you already have a group.
